Theory is helpful. Practice is essential. Action is where real magic happens. Your Capstone Project is a creative journey that turns your new skills into a piece of writing that you're proud of. Each module consists of a short, punchy lesson and 1–2 practice exercises. About 40 minutes per module, 1–2 modules per week. Designed to be finished, not drowned in.
About Yours Sorcerously
Fantasy novels are where the journey began. I was the kid who was always buried in one, who got lost in words long before I understood why. Somewhere in that reading, I was rewired. Writing started to feel less like a skill, more like a native language.
In 2016, I started writing professionally — sales copy, emails, landing pages, scripts, ads, webpages — for myself and for others. I've written hundreds of articles, countless poems, and started a fair few stories I never quite finished. Perhaps one day.
Along the way I realized that the mechanics of writing are easily learnable.
But the magic — the thing that makes someone stop, reread a line, feel something they didn't expect to feel — that's something else entirely.
That's what I've spent my life chasing. Not how to write correctly, but how to write in a way that actually moves people.
The Magic of Wordcraft is my way of sharing what I've found. Not to teach you how I write, but to show you the forces underneath. So that whatever you write, in whatever voice is yours, carries the kind of power that stays with people long after they've finished reading.
